ABOUT:
Strike First Records was started in 2003 as a developing artist division of Facedown Records. Between 2003 – 2006, Strike First released 26 albums from War Of Ages, Inked In Blood, Call To Preserve, Jesus Wept, Bloodlined Calligraphy, Sinai Beach, and many more. In 2006, Strike First was put on hold so that the Facedown staff could solely focus on the artists on Facedown. At this time, the majority of active bands on Strike First were brought up to Facedown (Kingston Falls, Call To Preserve, etc..). Now in the Fall of 2008, Strike First Records is back with a new look and roster, but with the same vision as always: to develop the next generation of heavy bands!
With a new and refined focus on developing artists in this day and age, this new wave of Strike First releases will be available worldwide through iTunes and other digital distributors like Amazon MP3, Shockhound and more. However, we are not simply focusing on being a “digital only” label as all releases will also be available as limited edition, environmentally friendly physical packaging that is free of plastic jewel cases. These physical copies of all the releases will be available online on the Facedown / Strike First store, as well as other select .com sites (interpunk, smartpunk, revhq.com, bestbuy.com, fye.com, etc…) and of course at all of the bands shows.
With the support of so many dedicated bands, friends and fans around the world, we have released over 100 albums total in 11 years through our family of labels (Facedown, Strike First, Dreamt Music). Whether it’s buying music and supporting us directly, seeing our bands live, or buying merch and ringtones, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this opportunity. We will continue to strive to bring you the finest in independent music with a message of hope and redemption.

DISTRIBUTING STRIKE FIRST RECORDS
If you would like to distribute Facedown Records releases, email Virginia and she will get you started off on the right track. We work with a few different distributors throughout the world so please include as much info as you can in your initial order like what country you are in, if you do a store, mailorder, or Christian book store. This will help us serve you better and get you plugged into the right place to get our titles as effectivly as possible.
BOOKING STRIKE FIRST BANDS
Our in house booking agent, David, can help you book shows in your town with the bands on Strike First Records. Drop him an email here and include as much info as possible (city, state, venue, bands you would like to book, etc..)
DEMO SUBMISSIONS
Please do not send us physical demo submissions. Instead, please send us a myspace message with a link to your bands profile. We check out all messages and if we are interested in hearing more, we will then request that you send us a physical CD and package. This process will save you money, time and resources.
